Privacy Policy

Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how China Video AI collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you create an account, use our image and video generation tools, purchase credits or plans, upload reference material, or contact support. It should be read together with our Terms of Service, Acceptable Use Policy, and Refund Policy.

China Video AI is an independent AI creation platform. We do not store complete payment-card numbers on our servers. Payment credentials are entered into the payment provider's checkout experience.

Information we collect

Depending on the features you use, we may collect:

• Account and authentication information: name, email address, authentication records, sign-in events, and account settings.
• Generation information: prompts, generation settings, selected model, uploaded images, videos, audio or other reference material, output metadata, task status, download events, and credit usage.
• Billing information: product or plan, amount, currency, payment status, order number, provider transaction identifiers, subscription status, and billing communications. We do not store complete card numbers.
• Technical and usage information: IP address, browser and device information, language, time zone, request timestamps, error logs, pages viewed, feature usage, and security or abuse signals.
• Cookies and local storage: authentication, locale, preferences, security controls, and essential session state. Optional analytics technologies may be used only when configured for the service.
• Support and safety reports: emails, task IDs, screenshots, rights or authorization information, and other information you choose to send to support or report a safety issue.

Please do not upload sensitive personal information, payment credentials, or illegal material unless the feature and applicable law clearly allow it. Do not email child sexual abuse material or other illegal content to us.

How we use information

We use information to:

• provide, maintain, and improve account, generation, storage, download, billing, and support features;
• submit prompts, settings, and necessary reference material to the model or processing service selected for a task;
• calculate and apply credit usage, process payments, prevent duplicate fulfillment, and maintain order records;
• send service, billing, security, and policy notices;
• detect fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, policy violations, and payment disputes;
• investigate reports, enforce our Terms and Acceptable Use Policy, and protect users and the service; and
• comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.

AI models and service providers

To provide a requested generation or related feature, we may transmit the minimum information needed for that feature to the relevant third-party AI model provider and its authorized processing infrastructure. Depending on the selected workflow, available model brands may include ByteDance/Seedance, Kuaishou/Kling, Google, OpenAI, Alibaba/Wan, and other models shown in the product.

The actual model, processing location, retention behavior, and applicable terms can vary by workflow and provider. We do not send every request to every provider. Please review the model and settings shown before submitting a task, and do not upload material that you are not authorized to process.

Unless we separately disclose and obtain the required permission, China Video AI does not intentionally use your prompts or uploaded content to train general-purpose AI models.

We may also use third-party providers for website hosting and runtime, database and object storage, email delivery, payment processing, security, and optional analytics. These providers receive only the information needed for the relevant service and are subject to their own privacy policies and legal obligations.

Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information:

• to infrastructure, storage, AI processing, payment, email, customer-support, security, or analytics providers when needed to operate the service;
• to professional advisers, auditors, or insurers who are bound by confidentiality duties;
• when necessary to protect users, the service, our rights, or the public from fraud, abuse, security threats, or serious harm;
• in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to applicable confidentiality and notice requirements; or
• when required by law, court order, or a valid request from a public authority.

International processing

Our service and third-party providers may process information in countries different from the country where you live. Where applicable, we use contractual, technical, and organizational safeguards for international transfers. By using a workflow that sends information to a third-party model or service, you acknowledge that processing may occur outside your country.

Cookies and analytics

Essential cookies and local storage support sign-in, language selection, security, and core functionality. If optional analytics are enabled, the service may use Google Analytics, Plausible, Microsoft Clarity, or another configured analytics tool to understand traffic and product usage. You can limit cookies through your browser settings; disabling essential storage may prevent sign-in or core features from working.

Security

We use HTTPS/TLS in transit, access controls, credential hashing or encryption where appropriate, provider authentication, and operational monitoring. No internet service can guarantee perfect security. If we identify a security incident that legally requires notice, we will notify affected users or authorities within the period required by applicable law.

Retention and deletion

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain account and billing records, resolve disputes, enforce safety rules, prevent abuse, and meet legal, tax, accounting, or security obligations. Prompts, uploads, outputs, and logs may have different retention periods depending on the feature, account settings, storage configuration, and provider workflow.

You may request account or personal-information deletion by emailing support@chinavideoai.com. Deletion may not remove information that we must retain for legal, payment, fraud-prevention, security, dispute-resolution, or accounting reasons. Provider-side copies are governed by the relevant provider's policies and technical retention limits.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, export of, restriction of, or deletion of your personal information, or object to certain processing. Send the request to support@chinavideoai.com with the subject Privacy Request and include the account email and the specific request. We may verify account ownership before responding and generally aim to respond within 30 days where a different legal deadline does not apply.

You may also complain to the data-protection authority or other regulator with jurisdiction over you.

Children

The service is intended for adults and is not directed to children. You must be at least 18 years old, or the minimum age required to enter a binding agreement where you live, whichever is higher. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.

Policy changes

We may update this Privacy Policy as the service, providers, or legal requirements change. We will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, provide additional notice for material changes. Continued use after an update means the updated policy applies to future use.
